Care Givers
Our caregivers are thoroughly screened by the owner of Your Home To Stay.
Each potential applicant must pass: extensive background checks, DMV record checks, criminal background checks, NH State Registry for the Elderly Abuse checks as well as medical screenings.
It is important that each individual be properly and thoroughly screened prior to hire.
Caregivers are “employees” of Your Home To Stay not subcontractors. Each employee is subject to payroll taxes, bonded and fully insured by workmen’s compensation.
Only individuals that I personally feel are capable of such care giving positions are hired and sent into our client’s homes.
There needs to be a “comfort factor”, each individual in addition to the above needs to exhibit special qualities such as caring, patience, respect and understanding. The caregivers need to take the time and listen to the concerns of their clients.
Each caregiver is personally trained for “each assignment” .
A designated caregiver offers “Continuity of Care” providing clients with a feeling of security.
In addition, Your Home To Stay offers extensive training for all types of “dementia” including Alzheimer’s special needs.
